I'm back.......

Some rules to follow:

    1. Don't personally "bash" any individual for their ideas. They are entitled to their opinion.
    2. NO personal attacks.
    3. No off-color remarks or cursing. You will be banned, not just repremanded!
    4. Your opinions are welome, and wanted.
    5. Children are members here as well so keep your comments appropriate.
    6. Positive comments will be accepted and not moved, or locked.

This site is NOT a portion of OVKA, or affiliated with it, or any organization. If you take exception to something a "Local Club" is doing, or has done. Deal with the ISSUE, not the proposer of said idea.

Jean,

I am not sure about your last rule you mentioned.
Since 95% of this forum members are also the members of the local club, I don't know how you can control it. And most of the posts in the past are something to do with the local club either good or bad.

I actually liked many of the posts because I could see what people think about what we have done or should do.
There are a lot of negative posts in Ekarting forum, too.
This is just like TV news, if it is good news, they don't report it but if there are bad news, they always report them.

Anyway, good luck and thanks.

T.

Toshiya.

Which "Rule" are you reffering to? #6, or the ;ast paragraph.

We'll accept negative comments, just not about individuals. If you don;t like one of my ideas, for example, take exception to the idea, not me as a stupid dolt who doesn;'t know what he's talking about. Use the philosophy that if you can;t say something nice about someone, say nothing.

(See the difference?)

I am curious, since this forum was initially about the OVKA, and if now no OVKA business or rules are to be discussed, where will OVKA business and rules now be discussed?

Jean,
I just want that say it was good talking to you this afternoon, and to say thank you for taking over the site, I trust you will do whats right, given how long you have been around karting and the experience you have to share.

It was getting too personal for Kathy and me with some of the personal comments that were made over the past few months to continue to run it and remain objective and fair neutral .

anyways We wish you well.

Now lets get to what the club is about.......Kart RACING!!!

I'm going to miss the McKibbens' tag team approach to administration as I always wondered what their household was like w/ Ray saying this and Kathy saying that. But I look at modern households w/ me on my pc and my "love bride" upstairs on her "Ancient Apple" (Has anybody seen the kids this week?) Oh well... I hope they don't become strangers to the Forum.
As for Gene...I hope the old saddle feels good. After all there is a presidential candidate that has predicated his whole campaign, rather successfully on the word "CHANGE".
Long live the Forum!

GUYS!!!

Read the first post. I saud if you take exception to an issue, or rule of the "Local Club" present your opinion, and reasoning, BUT, don;t attack the Organizatio0n, it's members. Executive Board, or BOard of Diresctors. They are all doing a job that needs doing, and deserve our support.

Wanna talk about the Turtles? Feel free! Just don't bash the group that worked to put them in, no matter how we feel about the shape, size, etc. After all, they did get them in.

Express your opinion. Keep ot clean, and avoid personal attackes. If it gets too far out of line, I'll deal with it, and you'll be aware of the reasoning.

And Rick. I've been to BoD meetings where the meeting and results were decided long before the meeting began. In fairness, this was before your time, and at least four or more years ago. IO hope the "Local CLub" keeps an open mind when reading this forum. It does express the feelings of quite a few members, and their thoughts deserve consideration, regardless of where they are heard.

One moire thing. Please forgive the spelling errors. It's more that I can;t see, than can't spell. Although.........

Well, I personally think (talking about those stupid, arrogant, hideous, obnoxious, dangerous, and just down right stuuupiddddd turtles) If someone would not have go on here and griped about it, nothing would have been done.

Now, I guess I need to gripe more about turn 7, not the people who designed it, or the thought process behind it, but the dumb ole track, that laid itself out dangerously.

Well Jean in his infinate wisdom has decided to reinstate me after I was banned by the previous moderators (Dictators.......who shall remain nameless) so I wanted to post on here and thank Doug B and Doug S for their kind words and to tell everyone else that I will continue to fight for things that I feel are wrong especially when they relate to safety of the racers.

Hey big John it looks like its you and me buddy..............The Dynamic Duo fighting side by side for track safety serving and protecting racers across the country............. well at least in the Ohio Valley, it's nice to see that I have somebody that will stand up with me, makes me feel less alone........ Can I get a hug Razz

Francis

Hey Francis , instead of sitting behind the computer and gripping about everything that the club does after wards , why not become involved ?

Oh yea i forgot you are running a business that depends on the karters & club and do not have time.

Hmmm,,Hug Francis,,,or my wife........Tough one...have to get back to you on that one.

I will stand and fight as long as I have to, or at least until someone sticks a kart over, through, or under the fence in turn 7, cause god forbid we lose a little room in the Arrow country pits by moving the fence back.
