Eric,
My kart is a 1.6 Limo which I think means it was the 2006 model for Margay. The Limo part means it is made for a taller driver.
I don't know exactly what the 1.25 model is as I thought he had the same kart as mine. At least at a quick glance they looked the same. Does his kart have a removable side rail as I have seen on some Margay's? Mine does not have this feature but does have front and rear bars.
I would be glad to contact the Margay folks to find out more details as they are very helpful. Let me know if you want me to find out.
(John, if you see this please feel free to comment)

Kart was sold to a gentleman in Harrisburg, PA. I met him in Virginia on our way to the US Kart Grand Prix at VIR this past weekend. He is a new racer and will compete on some tracks in his local area.
-1 for Can Class.

Toshiya,
No I didn't race there but my son did and he finished 2nd on a cold damp track. See my other posting in the Racing Around section.
It was great time and I am still excited!
