Any interest out there in a reasonable 1 man elect. kart stand?
Steve Tatman of C.Ville fame is manufacturing a pretty neat 1 Man lift/stand that works pretty well. $499. incl. Battery & Delivery (No Shipping) I will represent it to OVKA events in 2008 and hope to have them avail. for direct purchase or quick delivery to next club event.
It works w/ 12 volt winch and does work really well. I will have some on display @ the Swap but if anybody wants more info. or wants a demo @ the Banq., let me know. It can be customized etc. but my intent is to avoid the shipping by bulk pick-up to Club members.
See web for details www.StevesStands.com or p.m. or E- me if any interest.

Eric,
How do you get the kart onto the stand in the lowered position???? _________________ Doug Stempfley II

Doug- Thanks for the good question. You roll the collapsed stand directly behind the kart and the main lifting arm hooks onto the standard bumper on the kart. Push the button and it lifts the rear to about 45 degrees. As you hold the button, the stand pulls itself under and lifts the front to a level setting. Key word here is to NOT overlift! It is really strong! _________________ Eric Bradford #53 Masters Yamaha (Mid-Pack Club Racer at best) If... |
